Step 1 : soaking and incubating seeds
Peel or grind the round end: Use a sharp knife or grind the round end of the lotus seed. Be careful not to damage the lotus heart.
Soak the seeds: Soak the lotus seeds in warm water about 30°C. Change the water twice a day.
Step 2 : Sowing and planting seeds
Soil preparation: Use clean soil or mud treated with lime powder in a ratio of 4 parts mud to 5 parts water.
Planting lotus: When the lotus sprouts emerge, gently drop the lotus seeds into the settled mud into a pot or cup
Place the pot in a place with direct sunlight.
After 2-3 weeks, the lotus will start to bloom. Make sure the plant gets plenty of light and change the water regularly to help the flowers grow well.
